A French photographer who trained at the École Nationale Louis-Lumière in Paris (1983), Jacques has over twenty years’ experience in photojournalism across the globe. His work has frequently won awards and been published in numerous magazines. At the heart of his approach lies a close connection and dialogue with his subjects that is as intimate as possible.

Building on this maturity, his expressive work—always underpinned by careful reflection—now extends to personal and commissioned projects, which he selects above all for their profound human values. His photographic style combines traditional analogue techniques, such as large-format camera work, with digital photography. His projects also give him the opportunity to be directly involved in shaping how they are ultimately presented.
His artistic photographic work is now promoted by the Lab 1930 Fotografia contemporanea in Milan and the Millenium gallery in London.
